I sometimes get the request to save test data to excel files.  Sometimes customer want a polished excel file with graphs, company logos, analysis, etc.  LabVIEW has the report generation toolkit; however, I have found creating graphs, logos, macros programmatically very time consuming.  Also, if the customer wants to change the excel file it must be done in code.  A trick I have learned is in the create report vi you can specify an excel or word template.

What I do is create an excel template for the customer.  It will have graphs, logos, macros, etc.  Then I load the template in and populate the data into the necessary columns.

This way the customer has control over the template.  They can modify the template anyway they want.  The only restriction is the location where the data gets populated.

‍Karikó and Weissman win Nobel Prize in medicine for work that enabled mRNA vaccines against COVID-19

‍Hungarian-American Katalin Karikó and American Drew Weissman were cited for contributing “to the unprecedented rate of vaccine development during one of the greatest threats to human health,” according to the panel that awarded the prize in Stockholm.

The panel said the pair’s “groundbreaking findings ... fundamentally changed our understanding of how mRNA interacts with our immune system.”
